Inside the Dreamwright

Matt touches up the potty room inside our bathroom- notice the doors and jams are not up yet. That was to make it easier for us to paint!
Our bedroom ceiling. The blue paint tape is still in place but we will remove it today. This ceiling is very pretty but such a pain to paint!
Another picture of the master bedroom. The room looks small but its not!
The living room!

The Outside

Look at all the mess to clean up! But isn't it just beautiful!
Another view of the front from the garage side!
Our front door still needs stain and of coarse some clean up but isn't it great!
Our brick mason cut the keystone over the window on site. This was something extra he did just being nice. I love it.

More Photos

Patricia playing in what will become our shower
A full view of our front door -couldn't figure out how to turn it on here
This is a neat photo! It is Me, Matt and Patricia standing on the back porch looking thru the living room at the front door

My first person thru the front door. I have a feeling in years to come she will be going in and out alot more than I would like!

Progress

Okay its been a while since my last post. Amy (my sister) has been on me about it. The reason I haven't posted any comments is because we have been working so hard. We finished painting the living room tonight and only have our bedroom and bathroom left to paint. We have spread on a total of 60 gallons of paint so far. The above photos were taken a couple of days ago. Since that time our brick and rock work have been completed, we have pulled up the tar paper and clean the floor, clean up alot of bricks outside and replaced the tar paper on the floor with plastic. We have paint almost all the inside and to say the least we are tired but very proud of ourselves. Moving day gets closer everyday!

Sheet Rock

Well I wish I could say I took pictures tonight but I didn't! I was too busy picking up scrap sheet rock to take photo's. I'll try tomorrow night. Basically everyday is filled with house stuff to do. Saturday we picked out our paint. Lots of it! We also picked out our stain for cabinets. We picked cinnamon from Sherman Williams. Sunday we spent some time with the Cabinet man. He is such a nice man who tries to make every inch of our cabinets usable space. We got to see some of our cabinets in the making. It was very interesting. They looked very pretty and Matt said it was the first time I looked really excited and not stressed. Stressed seems to be a normal state for me. Pray for me that I don't lose it before long.

Third Little Piggy

Hopefully this week I will become like the third little piggy and have a house made of brick instead of sticks (2x4's). Cute hugh!! This is our brick and rock selection. The house itself will be brick but we will have rock accents on the corners and around the windows. The post by the front door will also be rock. It's going to look great.

Sheet Rock

We are waiting on an inspector to look at the insultation before we hang the sheet rock. There is two more stacks this big in the garage.
